Tarin Smith

The past week and a half has been quite gloomy around here. Here is a little something to pick up our spirits. This is our 6'2" point guard next year

Hope so, we don't have one now.

Re: Tarin Smith

Have to find something positive right now. We are all aware that we are losing most of our ppg going into next year. However, it has been said almost unanimously that Smith will be a major upgrade to Colter. Doesn't this mean with the core coming back we will have guys with another year of improvement, a better point guard and mostly needing to replace the production of one guy with at least three more coming in? I know how good Micah is and the fact that not only does he score, but stirs the drink for the offense if we ever do put decent runs together before we blow leads, but his impact could be diversified amongst many players and even though the production might not be equal it could be pretty close? Idk just trying to hope for continual improvement in the team, however incrementally small it may be.

Re: Tarin Smith

102 really sad that you had to add the final sentence as a qualifier but who could argue with your point. You would certainly hope for improvement but more than anything how about maturity in an over all basketball sense.
I also believe Ferry needs to play 10 guys during the OOC in order to find combinations that will work and reliable backups. A bad habit of his is painting guys into positions and and not allowing them movement in or out of those spots.
