Good news but Duquesne still has three very tough road games left, including one with the Bonnie's.  Things could still change quite a bit in the standings.

I read on a SBU blog that Jones for GW may be out for the season. (Unconfirmed) If that is the case, that could throw the entire tourney wide open. While I believe that DU can win it, i don't want a sleeper team winning and threatening DUs at large bid.

Actually I was rooting for GW in that game for that reason.

Bona has an easy schedule remaining and could well move up the standings. I would not like to see GW with or without Jones in the A10 semis. And If we would split with Bona and tie them, they would move ahead of us in all likelihood. Next tiebreaker is highest opponent beaten. They would have the nod cause they beat GW.

FYI. The GW blogs are say that the SBU report is incorrect and Jones is day to day.

I think it's important for the Dukes to run the table and finish 27-2 in first place in the A-10. That accomplishment would obviously include victories on the road over two of the current top four A-10 teams.  Winning in this manner will have to impress those who vote in the national polls and those serving on the NCAA selection committee.  At this point I'm not worried about the match-ups that the Dukes will face in the A-10 tournament.  We just have to wait and see how this all works out at the end of the regular season.

Tonight's mission is to beat St. Louis hopefully with a comfortable enough margin to give the starters some rest on the bench.

GO DUKES!

Nice thought on the comfortable win, but I'd take a win period.  SLU is a quality team at home (10-1, average margin of victory in those 10 wins is 19.5 ppg).  Granted, not the hardest schedule, but road games in February in conference play are never easy...
