Tough Road Loss

The team took a tough road loss last night in St. Louis, by 4 to a surprising St. Louis team who won its 20th game.  I didn't see the game but it appears the Dukes had no trouble scoring, but must have underperformed on defense.  Two very tough road games remain, at Dayton and St Bonaventure.  I hope the team can have a short memory of this game and come out strong at Dayton.

Re: Tough Road Loss

Watched the game on the video stream which was provided by St. Louis (was HORRIBLE) picture was mediocre (at best) they even showed some replays of St. Louis baskets DURING Live Action -  I missed at least TWO Dukes baskets because they were replaying the St. Louis baskets from previous trips.

To THEIR Credit - St Louis moved the ball around well  - got too many lay ups for my satisfaction (whether it was mix ups on screens or what)  St Louis also did a superb job from the free throw line - they are 10-1 at home -  For a good deal of the second half so was more up tempo and both teams were scoring quickly as Burt went "small" with Robinson, Gronas, Ommogrosso, Workman and 1 of Lady/Szamosi -  and St Louis took advantage of that somewhat inside.
