Bonnies

They are all big games for the Dukes now to close out the season. The Dukes need to finish strong. A win tonight would pivotal.  SBU opens up as a 7 point favorite tonight.

Re: Bonnies

I agree CLK that it is a crucial game.  I'm working tonight so I won't be paying attention, though truth be told if I weren't I'd be at the women's game cheering on Burt and the crew.

Re: Bonnies

First half Dukes playing hard and dominating boards especially the offense glass, foul trouble for DC and Castro comes in looking lost, Dukes up by 6 on a run less than a min, missed shot offensive rebound. Ball kicked out to Castro to restart the offensive with a fresh clock, he fires up a three, misses and Bona scores 2 three's and lead gone. No wonder they keep this kid on bench.

Wow.

Re: Bonnies

Nice start to 2nd half. Second-half leads not too meaningful this year though.

Re: Bonnies

For those of you who are okay with not going to a tournament, think we have improved, and believe this was a "good try" you might as well take Ferry out on a date.  You are satisfied with mediocrity, being a loser, and can't get passed the mental fortitude needed to actually have a good team.  I actually feel sorry for you.  Another loss after being ahead, another loss, another loss in a row.  I am sick of this team losing but some of you will say that is okay.  No wonder they keep losing.  Not enough of a strong fan base that doesn't accept being a loser.  You are getting what you accept!!!  I will not be going to the game Saturday night...not that anyone will miss me among the 900 fans over the age of 30 that will be there.  Another Nice job Ferry.

Re: Bonnies

There comes a time that you need to win these games, not yet with this club, this year.

Re: Bonnies

This whole thing is embarrassing. Its to the point where I almost want them to lose out to see "what happens" with Ferry and everybody . This is unbelievable.

Re: Bonnies

Dukes now in a 4 way tie for 9th place in A-10. They are closer to 14th place than 6th place in the A-10. Slipping closer to a play in game in the A-10 tourney.

Re: Bonnies

Meanwhile, the women won 74-49 over LaSalle

Craig Meyer went to that game.

Women are 25-3 13-2 in the league.

Harper should marquee the women.

Re: Bonnies

Just a few thoughts; your scoring at will inside and you have a huge advantage rebounding yet your guards take 31 shots and make 9 for 29%. Meanwhile James seems to be shooting it well can we get him a couple more shots.
Pistol speaking of rotation why suddenly Castro?
Another night of double digit turnovers (15) can we ever get it below 10, 22 fouls and 3 steals. I believe we are last in that stat.

Re: Bonnies

Just think of all the A-10 teams that have recently over come sometimes large Duquesne  second half leads and came back to steal a win from our Dukes, why I bet we are making some other coaches look very good.

That's not a brightside for Duquesne but it's making a lot of other teams fans real happy.

Re: Bonnies

As predicted, no sign of J. Rob. Even with the starters in foul trouble. See you in about 3 or 4 games. And probably for a total of 90 seconds of playing time. I am certain that J Rob is big enough for Coach Ferry to see. There is only so long you will be able to keep the big man on the sidelines.
