Monday is the first home game against an opponent that will be a good litmus test. Anyone else going?

THE KEY QUESTION IS HOW MANY STUDENTS. NO PENGUINS PIRATES OR STEELERS. NO MORE EXCUSES.

Aren't the students on break next week?
I guess that does not apply to the Pitt students. Duquesne still has commuters dont they?

If students barely come when they are 200 yards away dont expect them to come when they are 2 miles away or 20 miles away. The teams coming in are solid but they bring no name recognition, so that makes it even less likely. Don't get your hopes up.
I would be more hopeful about a big walk up crowd if the games have been advertised well around the city.

I really haven't seen or heard much about this tournament media wise. Unfortunately, I am out of town all three days and have given my tickets to friends whom I hope will be there rooting the Dukes on. Let's hope that there is some interest being generated for this team which figures to be just a bit better than some may have thought.

The students are gone until Monday the 26th. I agree if they won't come from not 200yds, but 75yds, they will not commute in for the dukes.

You can't keep the students at the game when they're in the building. Every time they have the chorus sing the anthem which consists of at least 40 people I estimate. You can see them heading for the exits before tip off.

The opening line was our Dukes were 7½ point favorites over their Dukes. I'll take a 1 point win to break the Ferry Cherry.
Also, the opening line of the opener is a Pick Em' between Youngstown St. and North Dakota St.

Phoenix thanks. I hope our guys regain their shooting touch at home. Duquesne had some good looks in the two games on the road but just did fall.
Go Dukes of Duquesne!
