Kid looks like a really nice player. Averaged 16 a game at niagra and has good size for a guard.

Thanks...

Further on it says he was a fan favorite due to his competitive fire and energy.

Castro was a Butler recruit if you think school selection is an indicator of something.

Emile Blackman will be visiting DU this weekend along with 6'8" Drake grad transfer Kale Abramson. Could be an interesting weekend.

Re: Dukes, Ferry in Hot pursuit of transfer Emile Blackman

Damn. Article also mentions other kid transferring was starting pg so he's a 6'4" shooting guard? Backcourt of Tarim smith and him with other guys coming in would give me some legitimate optimsm. Also Twitter search Isaiah Mike and see how many people in the last couple days have been talking about how much of steal that kid was for us. How do we know we are hot on his trail though? The article doesn't mention us.

I only care if he can play at an A-10 level. Ferry hasn't found very many that can do that in four years, now, has he?

Re: Dukes, Ferry in Hot pursuit of transfer Emile Blackman

Would be asking too much to get both players  but this program seriously needs an infusion of talent and soon or we are looking at 10-12 wins next season at best IMO.

I like blackmon a lot. Our two guards able to throw it down like AI is pretty nice.

Kale Abramson guy looks like a smaller LG weight wise but can dribbling the ball way better

Re: Dukes, Ferry in Hot pursuit of transfer Emile Blackman

Rick it would be very nice if Ferry could get both grad transfers.  Ferry has made inroads with some nice 2017 players.  Signing these guys would give him 3 scholarships for 2017.  However, I hope Ferry has plan B working.   Abramson visited Pepperdine last weekend and has scheduled a visit to Arizona State after DU.

Blackman not a great three point shooter, and not a good assist/turnover ratio, but looks like a strong guy who can take it to the rack at will.
