DU's best returning player (Eric James) didn't start?
One or both of the senior transfers didn't start?
One or more freshman started?
Think about the non-injury circumstances that could lead to one of these scenarios or even some combination thereof. What would you see as the likely positive outcome?

Would mean that the young guys have stepped up, which is the best scenario long term.

In the case of James, it could be that Ferry went big up front (Lewis, Sanders, Abrahamson) and used Eric as a sixth man. Could be instant offense off the bench.

I actually thought EJ performed better off the bench than he did as a starter. I wouldn't mind seeing him be the sixth man

I thought the same thing. Plus he plays two positions.

I think the three freshman are very talented, and hope they get meaningful minutes next season. The thing that concerns me is that Ferry has to win next season. He knows that a losing season and a bottom finish in the League could be his last season at DU. I think you may see Smith, Blackman, James and Abrahamson all with 35 plus minutes if they don't foul out, and a 7 man rotation. Hope I'm wrong!
If given a fair shake, Littleson could IMHO play a big role for the Dukes as a freshman.
Rashad Phillips Almost 7 years of training and I watched my student walk out my gym for the last time to go to college this weekend.

This team could be the best shooting team of Ferry era, an Offensive juggernaut. It'll come down to playmaking.

He's brought some horrible gunners here, for sure. Remember two years ago guys were predicting 10 man rotations with everyone scoring 10-plus? Then we found out the jucos shot like the baskets had lids.
