Great news! This is so good to see; congrats to Dan on getting rewarded for an outstanding job. I also loved the tone of the announcement, with a really good quote from Ken Gormley. Dan Burt might be the best coach of any sport in Duquesne history. I know about Moore and Davies, but look at some of the opponents on which they built their records. Burt's Dukes take on everyone. The future of the Dukes WBB program looks bright! Did you know that Coach Burt's contract is the longest of all current DIvison I wbb coaches at 8 years? That will help recuiting. Totally agree! Now it's time to work hard (and smart) to get current and prospective fans into the Palumbo to support the great product Dan and his staff have put on the court. Imagine what it would be like for the team and program to have 2,500+ fans at every home game. We can do this!.
