Talks about Ridenour and Watkins transferring out. Agreed ElDuque. Consider the source: Here's the author's bio: Offline I think he did a pretty good job for a High School Junior. I've read a lot worse from some so-called professionals! Offline There are (used to be) a couple principles that are critical for good journalism. Getting facts straight is (used to be) one of the important ones. Offline Absolutely agree with your evaluation of what passes for "journalism" today. It is a sad state of affairs that standards have sunk to this level. Offline Levon, I have a buddy on FaceBook who is a J-school graduate of DU, like me. He had made a comment about a national publication that did a crappy job of reporting a story, and I made a comment about the state of the industry compared to what we were taught by Paul Krakowski (Mr. K.). Someone replied to me that what Mr. K. taught was "BS." The person who replied works for a newspaper.

State of the industry IMHO is not good. Such principles are ignored, opinions are proferred in lieu of facts, information is twisted to match editorial alignment, and the quality of writing at most outlets has deteriorated significantly.
