Offline 7pm tip. Per KenPom: Offline Excited for the season to start. Hopefully we can come out and put on a nice performance to wash some of that stink off of us from the Mansfield game. I'll be watching the livestream while watching U.S. / Mexico World Cup qualifying game. How bad is he hurt? Offline Broken hand, 3-4 weeks. Offline I sure hope I wasn't supposed to be impressed by this performance. Offline This offensive just looks so bad Offline We won. I watched the Penn State game at the same time. They looked as bad as us, but played a much better team (Albany) and lost. I hope Sunday goes well as I will be there to watch in person. Offline Not pretty, but a W. Offline Robinson 3 min.? Offline Defense looks much improved. However, there's no go-to guy on offense right now. There's clearly talent there though. Offline Also, liked what I saw from littleson and I. mike Offline Pitt in the second overtime against E. Michigan. It's gonna be ugly on the Pitt board tonight. These were literally my two takeaways. The offensive talent is there, someone just needs to emerge. Whoever mentioned Nakye is right too. I would guess he put about 25 lbs of muscle on, looks like a man out there. Much improved from everyone, Tarin Smith looked like a leader today. I think Lewis 2, mike, Blackman, and Lewis can all be big contributors offensively. Tarin will pull the strings. Again, evident we were much the better team, still haven't been able to pull away and show it yet. Still encouraged by the improvement from game 1 to today. Also, id say about 80% of the student section full tonight, and they were much more engaged than usual. Stayed after halftime too Offline Offline Pitt in the second overtime against E. Michigan. It's gonna be ugly on the Pitt board tonight. Talent level in western Pa. might be at all-time low. Offline Pitt in the second overtime against E. Michigan. It's gonna be ugly on the Pitt board tonight. Talent level in western Pa. might be at all-time low. Can't argue with that. I wonder if Andy Toole regrets not getting out of there when he had a chance? The wheels seem to have come off with his best players transferring out. Also wonder how long Chambers can rely on recruiting rankings to stay off of the hot seat? His record is no better than Ferry's, and like with Ferry, a coach who had done a decent job was pushed out to open up his spot. He's in his 6th year, and the natives are getting very restless. Perhaps we can stir them up a bit more. Offline I am also confused about Robinson. Abrahamson is out with a broken arm and Robinson gets less minutes than he did the first game. It's pretty obvious they are not going to play D. Lewis more than 22 or 23 minutes per game. So your "big" lineup is what? when you come up against teams with massive front lines. Yeah, I know, small ball is the thing. But seriously, when Lewis sits, you are going with 4 guards and I. Mike. Not sure that's going to work too well. Offline My article on last night's game. Some good and some bad but they needed that win.

Bobby Mo blown away at home, and the Nits with a very ugly loss at home.

Here's an article on yesterday's win. Smith definitely looks rusty but you could really see the quality that he has. Looking forward to seeing what he can do once he knocks the rust off. Also, Blackman was really good on the boards yesterday, 8 pts 10 rbs.
