Offline Sorry for the late notice but I used to do this on the other site and so offered it there first for reasons that you probably don't care about. But apparently that site is dead. If anyone is going tonight and needs tickets I can offer you my two as I have to work. I would transfer them electronically as I use Flashseats and would need your name, email address and possibly phone number to do so. Send me an email via this site and the first to do that can have them. I am at work now and will not be able to monitor this closely so I will check back at this site around 1:30 PM to see if anyone is interested. You use flashseats at the gate either by having the app on your phone or by identifying a credit card or drivers license that they can scan and give you the tickets. I enter gate B and they are in the blue seats (though they are not the cushioned seats that certain alumni butts were allowed to purchase exclusively for some reason ). Offline Wish in' i's in Picksburgh. Thanks fer offrin'. Offline Wish in' i's in Picksburgh. Thanks fer offrin'. I've lived in the Burgh for all but 4 of my 58 years, and I've never heard anyone say Picksburgh, and believe me, I've heard some of the worst Pittsburghese you can imagine. I've lived in the Burgh for all but 4 of my 58 years, and I've never heard anyone say Picksburgh, and believe me, I've heard some of the worst Pittsburghese you can imagine. I sure have. A co-worker of our mutual friend Bill P. and mine by the name of Nancy said Picksburgh all the time. I also heard her say liberry and chimley for library and chimney. I'm sure Bill remembers Nancy. Offline Other than the English(?) lessons, I guess there are no takers. I'll try next time to let people know further in advance. Offline Mulder, Offline Mulder, FAM - I agree but if I had tickets to the other teams you mention I wouldn't be giving them away. I continue to buy 2 seats each year out of loyalty to Duquesne even though both my sons are essentially out of the house and busy with other things and when I'm able to go I go alone. But I'm coming to realize that Duquesne has no respect for alums, season ticket holders, donors - they just expect those of us that are left to still be there.
Free tickets
This happens a good bit and I usually offer them up to any good Duquesne fan interested in going. I will use this site in the future to do that when I cannot go and have tickets available. As I said they are free to a good home on a first come first served basis (just think good thoughts about me and my posts).

Re: Free tickets
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. But my lowly opinion is that there are no takers because there are few people who want to go watch this team play. Try putting tickets on for Penn State Football, the Penguins, or even Pitt Basketball. (You can forget Pitt football, nobody wants to go to their games either when you look at their attendance.) This is kind of why Ferry can hear people talking in the stands. A poor team against a weak OOC team (the Dukes should win tonight) . There were many times in the last 5 years when I couldn't give away my season tickets with weeks notice. They were down front in the first row near the center. Just another example of the current state of the program.

I did have takers on the other site by the way which is one reason why I went there first. Any friends I had that used to follow Duquesne are gone as well so I don't even have them to give tickets to. But even those guys at the other site have gone away and it's a shame that Duquesne doesn't realize or just plain ignores one segment of the community that could help to promote the school in many ways and who have been loyal. Again, there is no respect for these people and while I'm willing to give Harper a chance I still don't see any improvement. Amodio sat across the aisle from me for years when he did sit and never said one word to me. Harper doesn't come up into the stands and my take is he wouldn't waste the time trying to talk to me anyway. I am not optimistic that will change. I'm willing to give the new President a chance too because I've spoken with him but my preference would be that he give his support to the AD and let a qualified AD run with things. •Thread Starter
