    Dukes @ Fordham for 1st A-10 game of the season

    Dukes do not look good in the first half in losing to Fordham, 31-23.  Omogrosso (FG 0-7) is scoreless in 1st half.  Szamosi picked up two fouls in the 1st Q and sat out the remainder of 1st and all of the 2nd Q.

    Dukes just can't seem to get started.  Omogrosso's shooting woes continue - still scoreless.  Dukes trail 37-27 with 3 minutes to go in 3rd Q.

    Dukes are playing poorly and are being hurt by poor referring. They are down 44-34 at the end of the 3rd Q.  Terrible shooting by the Dukes!

    Dukes, 4-4 (0-1), lose embarrassingly, 64-51.  They will face a tough opponent on the road on Saturday, Ohio Univ. (5-0). The game will be carried by ESPN3.  

    The Dukes seem out of sync.  Lass (18 pts) and Robinson (13 pts.) were the Dukes' two high scorers.  Chassidy couldn't buy a basket the entire evening. Things just don't look right with this team.  The season is still young, but this was a game that I thought the Dukes would win.  A win in Ohio maybe just what the doctor ordered to heal what's aling this team.

    Yes, we did lose.  Watched the game on the A10 Network.  Fordham came out and played to their game plan.  Lot of pressure on the guard.  Did not score or have any assist.  Coach needs to get them prepared and ready to go for the next game in Ohio.  Its not going to be an easy one.  Our guards just need to play better.  I thought Richardson and Lass played really well.

    Very tough early schedule for a team trying to replace its three top guards from last season.  I was concerned when I saw the schedule, and as the losses mount it may be a tough year for the ladies.
