Offline This Mike Lonergan? Offline Might as well hire Mike Rice if you're gonna dip into the gutter. Offline My coach I would target is Pat Kelsey. He worked under Chris Mack in the A10 so he knows what is needed to win, and he is doing a good job at Winthrop. He is 15-4 this season. Then again, I'm also down for young, top assistants. Is Bill still playing? He might be my favorite Duquesne player since I started following. Our guys could learn a little toughness from him. Offline "The University never identified to the Coach his accuser, much less the details and the substance of the anonymous accusations," the statement said. "He was denied administrative due process in the form of a hearing as required by his contract and the policies of the University. The University failed and refused to give Coach Lonergan written notice of the outcome of the Title IX review, which is required by the University's own policy, and the University violated the confidentiality provisions of the policy by issuing a press release about the review." Is that his lawyer's contention or a finding of fact by a court? Either way, I think he is damaged goods. With those kind of allegations floating around, it's going to make recruiting extremely difficult.

If you can't get a guy with NCAA pedigree (grew up in a successful program) who's had the opportunity to be an assistant at a successful big time program and a head coach in a smaller conference where he's clearly made an impact, then don't screw us with another Smalltime loser.
Hire Billy Clark and bring in a retired Xs and Os guy and a recruiter who can dig out talent and bring back some attitude to the Bluff.
Yes, this is a reach. Not as much of a reach as we're saddled with now.
