I'm waiting for the official athletic site to stop covering the team at this point.
DK Pittsburgh Sports, what the deuce? Nothing the past two games?
I get that this is a 20 loss program that has been on the decline for five years, but geez.

You know, I know, we all know...we have become irrelevant. Next to stop, advertising.
Either get a new coach or move to Division II.

The explanation is here. And it makes sense from a business perspective:

If you ran any media outlet in town, would you send any of your writers to a bball event in town? They all stink. Spend time of stuff that will get clicks, Steelers, Pens and Pirates.

I'm a Steelers fan, but otherwise have NY rooting interests (Yanks, Knicks, Rangers) for professional sports. I subscribed to DK Pittsburgh Sports primarily for Steelers and Duquesne coverage (when they had Z-Dub). If I'm judicious about how many articles I read each month, I can get Steelers coverage from the P-G. I can also get coverage from the Trib, without any limits on the articles I read. ESPN does a good job covering the Steelers. And of course there's the Steelers' own website. I don't follow the live game coverage for the most part if the Steelers are on TV. Really, I only do that when I can't see the game. And there are large gaps sometimes while the game's going on.
Just thinking out loud here for when I have to make a business decision about renewing my subscription.
