Dayton beat St. Louis, 75-65, in today's first semi-final game. Should the Dukes beat the Hawks today, they will face the Flyers in the A-10 finals. Last edited by godukes1970 (3/04/2017 2:30 pm) Dukes up, 38-29, at the half. Amadea picked up her second foul early in the 2nd half and was taken out of the game. It seemed that her presence was missed a bit, resulting in allowing the Hawks to chip away of the Dukes 16 point lead at the end of the 1st Q. Dukes ahead, 60-53, with 4:41 to go in 4th Q. Richardson has made some very impressive shots this Q with 12 pts. Amadea getting into foul trouble can be a blessing in disguise. She rested and will be ready for tomorrow. Dayton is a tough match up -- Hopefully there is enough in the tank for the DU ladies to pull out one more game while they are in Richmond- AND THEN MAYBE WE CAN GO BACK TO THE RIVER TOWN CAFE FOR A SELECTION DAY PARTY - (hope THAT never grows old!!!)

Massey favors St. Joe's over the Dukes by 2.5 points. Predicted score by Massey is SJ - 65, Dukes - 63.
Sagarin favors St. Joe's by 1.5 points.
St. Joe's have won 10 of their last 11 games. The Dukes have won 7 of their last 11 games, including a 2-point loss at St. Joe's with the winning basket being scored in the final seconds of the game.
This should definitely a very tough game, but the Dukes have to be confident that they can beat the Hawks when they are not playing St. Joe's in their own nest.
