Offline Despite all the history & the fact that I believe myself to be reasonably sane, I am feeling a bit optimistic because: LOL! You fire Ferry now and lose those two players and three signed recruits. You would be starting over again! Offline The decision on whether or not to make a coaching change should not, in my opinion, be based on whether any current player(s) would stay or whether any committed recruit would still enroll. The decision should be made with a longer term view. If the right person would be hired, the program will improve rapidly with or without any current player(s). Having said that, I would hope that Mike and Lewis II stay if there is a change. Ferry won't win with those players, and they'll be a threat to transfer after he's fired next year. It's more important to get a good coach in here than to keep some players. Our last 3 NBA players were Nixon, Alston, and James. They were here a combined 12 seasons. Guess how many winning seasons they saw? TWO! Give me a good coach, he'll get the players he needs.
It is happening to me again!!!!!
-A $40 million upgrade is an unprecedented move by this University
-Harper declined to give JF even the most tepid vote of confidence
-There are 2 Duquesne players on the A-10 All Freshmen team
What the hell is the matter with me?

If one of the top coaches listed on the other thread is at a press conference on the Bluff later this month, I might join you in la la land.
