Positive Tweet From Stud Freshman to Stud Recruit
No offense to El Duque obviously, but if he knows that Ferry is gone Mike Lewis had to know at the time he sent this tweet, as Harper has surely started his recruiting efforts to get the freshman and recruits to stay.
I actually tweeted at him a couple days ago and included a comment about being excited about him coming up next year and he retweeted it on his own twitter page. Another encouraging sign.

I have been folowing this board for years & just recently signed up to post. And I am beginning to believe that acts of grass roots outreach like this will help us as a brand to overcome the 40+ years of wondering in the NCAA wilderness.

I simply have had discussions with three people that resulted in me getting the same basic information. Details? Unless one or more of the three tell me anything, I don't have a clue.
That said, someone at Duquesne once confirmed to me that the Message Board is well-read. By players, coaches, administrators, etc. Based on that, I'd guess that your assumption about the players knowing might make sense.
Just can't confirm it for you right now.

I'm glad they read it, they absolutely should. We are the voice of the 150 or so still attending games. The last who care. For too long there has been such a feeling of disconnect from the fans and students, and the hire ups making decisions (bad ones). For some reason this feels different right now. •
