I just saw a picture of a private jet with LSU painted down the side of it in a small airport near VCU. These power 5 schools are ruthless their like mobsters. Show up brandishing their flag not even trying to be discreet fly in, fly out with you star coach in one day.

Get it done tomorrow Duquesne.With all the darkness surrounding Duquesne basketball for so many years
you just hold your breath waiting for that dissappointment. I will be happy for all the Dukes fans who remained loyal, with little reason to be optimistic.Gotta be the best fans in the world.

VCU is probably going to hire former assistant Mike Rhoades. They have a very good class signed, and hiring Rhoades gives them a chance to keep it.

If they leave, I dont know what they are looking for.
I left my phone at home today, so limited contact with outside world here at work, they block most sites, thankfully I can get here. Will be checking back often. Fingers crossed!!!

This is a productivity killer.

That being said, I have respect for Mr. Harper and Dr. Gormley and their vision for a successful program. At this point, they have shown a desire to respect the process. That is something new on the Bluff.

Bill Murray has a son who is a assistant basketball coach at Xaiver-if this Rice hiring blows up in our
faces,it would be cool to see Bill Murray at the games.

He would have been facing his first season without Shaka's players. I wonder if he's just cashing in his chips, and if it means three years from now LSU will be looking again. I respect what Wade did, but I think he's a surly little prick.

Agreed. There has been no news since the Pittsburgh Sports Now report last night. The VCU job opening couldn't have come at a worse time given how paranoid we all are about Duquesne basketball.

Can't let it drag on too long. Move on to plan B if he can't make up his mind. Don't want the second choice to be gone.

A few mentions, but they seem to want rhoades from rice, who most thought should have gotten the job over wade last time.
