I think we might be strong in the backcourt this year. Mike and Tarin, with Castro getting major minutes. Hopefully Littleson can step up and earn some minutes as well. The frontcourt is where we are shorthanded. Robinson is going to go from almost no playing time, to yeoman duty up front, as will James. That's why it would have been crazy for them to transfer. They will play until they beg to come out. Djonkam will also have every opportunity to see the floor. I'm looking for Robinson to be our Gary McGhee. You might remember McGhee was a scrub center for Pitt, who did nothing his first two years. Pitt fans were calling for him to be pushed out. Then, without warning, he became a very solid player his last two years (killing us in the process). While Lewis is our most important piece long term, Robinson, and James will determine whether we will be no better than this past year, or if we can surprise, and maybe approach .500 overall. I know most hate playing a weak ooc schedule, but this is a year where it will be appropriate. We should schedule to go 10-3 at the worst. This should include putting an end to those life and death struggles with Bobby Mo, and St. Francis. St. Louis won 6 league games this year, despite a very green team. I think 6 wins is a reasonable goal for us. That would be 16-15 overall, a very very surprising, and acceptable result for Dambrot's first year.
