Starting to get just a bit nervous having heard nothing in a few days about any signings here to help next year except the kid from Hungary.. I guess that is also the good news. None of the recruits that Coach D. has been looking at have signed anywhere else as well. Sure hoping to land a few of those kids and the sooner the better! Coaches are lining up campus visits. Wouldn't sweat anything. You say there will probably be more guys who have to sit out next year, what are you basing that off of? I would say no way that's the case based off of current numbers. We will sign more ineligible transfers, is what I meant. And we did, we just signed another one (that's three scholarships for players that can't play next year) Half? Taylor. Presumably will miss a month again next season You say there will probably be more guys who have to sit out next year, what are you basing that off of? And we did, we just signed another one (that's three scholarships for players that can't play next year) See, this is the trick first-year coaches use. The bring in transfers who have to sit, then have a built-in excuse for a poor first season. My feeling is that there will be some walk-ons who get good minutes because Dambrot won't be able to attract enough recruits. That won't be good. Last edited by rittersdiner (4/14/2017 5:07 pm) Can you just let the coach do his job? Please don't form a lynch mob yet! Let it play out. Once again the sound of breaking glass. So far: You say there will probably be more guys who have to sit out next year, what are you basing that off of? Yes - those tricks, smokescreens, and schemes are exactly what Dambrot used to be one of the few programs to win 20+ games in each of the last eleven years (Duke, Gonzaga, and Kansas are others in case you were wondering)... In regards to this statement, at some point dambrot is going to have to find guys who can play this year, because our eligible roster consists of only 6 1/2 players.
I hate myself for loving you. Quoting me without the expressed written consent of the National Hockey League is prohibited.

1. Not one official LOI has been signed.
2. We haven't played a single game of the 2017-18 season (don't even know if we've scheduled any yet).
3. We haven't lost a game.
4. Coach Dambrot has yet to offer an excuse for anything.
What I hear is that he and his assistants are busting their butts recruiting. Let's see how it plays out.
Levon, interesting spell check there. I guess a guy with "diner" in his name should be able to organize a luncheon.

We have seen more direction and leadership in the last 6 weeks then we have in the last 6 years from the Bluff. Let's give him more than a few weeks before trying to label him an excuse maker, shall we?
