Seems to be another kid who was under recruited. Looks like a steal. Visited and we did not know about it. This kid is going to come in with a chip on his shoulder and you have to like that. Coach D is really a worker. Now didn't Coach D say he wanted winners from winning programs? State Champ Class B in MI , plus won it with a super tournament and game. I think that what he is talking about..... Seems like he grew a couple of inches his senior year. Don't know much about him but I trust Dambrot
Williams said his strength is defense. Verbal Commits has him going to Davis and Elkins: Verbal Commits has him going to Davis and Elkins: People can NEVER pronounce or spell Duquesne properly. Verbal Commits has him going to Davis and Elkins: Not an impressive list of suitors, but it is late in the game. The fall class will tell us much more about what type of recruiter Dambrot is. Eric looks good, athletic, nice shot and anyone who scores 50 points in a high school basketball game demands attention, what a nice pickup. His team beat Benton Harbor, the home of Chet the Jet Walker “Eric is having a special season, to me he’s one of the top wings in the entire state,” New Haven coach Tedaro France said. “He’s shooting the ball well and one of the things he’s done well lately is his defense. Now, he’s the complete player. He’s probably one of the hottest players in the state.”Weems, who has offers from Michigan State, Ohio State, Creighton, Oakland and Detroit, was thrilled to get the chance to play at Breslin.Weems is surprised Williams is without a Division I offer.“He’s been performing well and he’s had 50-point games, 40-point games and 30-point games and he’s been a beast on rebounds lately,” Weem said of Williams, who is averaging 21 points and 6.5 rebounds. “He’s defending, talking more, just being a leader.” TOP VIDEOS GREAT GET !!3 years with Lewis will do him wonders! Expect to see a lot of highlights reels in the future of "Lewis to Williams": . Looks like a very high ceiling and looks like he can score from anywhere on the floor. Still hasn't grown into his body at 6' 5", 175... should get a lot of playing time this year !!!

Re: SF Eric Williams Commits to Duquesne
Interesting. I cannot believe that this kid only had one other D1 offer given his size and stats. He passes the eye test based on his highlight films. I have a sneaky feeling that we will be looking back in a year or two thinking about what a steal this kid was.
