This was a kid many thought we should have gotten. In a reserve role at Drake, he's averaging 5.3ppg, and shooting 50% from 3. There is no doubt that Micah is a tremendous shooter from 3-pt range; maybe the best ever in this area; but my understanding was that Ron felt he would struggle on defense with the quickness of the guards in the A-10. They play a different style in the Missouri Valley Conference, and it allows for shooters like Micah to play a bigger role. They really value shooting in the "Valley". I think Micah made a good choice to play at Drake.

Micah was already committed to Drake by the time Jim Ferry got the job.
