Offline Maybe they should have the dear Doctor in for a day with us - the long suffering Dukes' fans: Offline Sure beats rolling the ball out and let them play........ Offline Phoenix I agree, it would not hurt to do a session with the students as well. Last edited by CLK (6/24/2017 1:50 pm) Offline This is once again an example of how to actually build and set standards for a program. File this one away as yet again doing the little things that mean so much and really add up. This is the type of stuff that you look back on in March and are able to say these are the type of things that got us here (hypothetical situation that we hopefully find ourselves in sooner rather than later!) Offline If there is anything else that could be done to enhance or further this program, I really don't know what it would be. It truly seems that Dambrot and staff have left no stone unturned. Good results will necessarily follow this kind of effort! Can't wait for the season to tip off. Offline A PG article on changing the mindset. Offline Keith Dambrot's goal, with a new staff, a reduced roster, and only four returning players, is to win 20 games. This year. Offline Pre season excitement from Bluffites Fans is building.... Offline Podcast interview with Coach Dambrot Offline Interesting snippets on Lewis II, Tarin Smith, Eric Williams,Tydus J. and Marko K. As suspected, Smith played through a knee injury that most likely limited what he could do. Coach wants him to be the defensive stopper. Looking for Tarin to become a leader. Offline Podcast interview with Coach Dambrot I agree with Coach's comments about marko adjusting to a more organized system. I watched a few snippets of his juco game films, and it looked like street ball at times. The guards would take a few steps past half court and launch threes. Marko would go several trips without a single touch.
Changing the Mindset
Good stuff here.

While my head chuckles (confirmation that I am a chucklehead), when I read how he is coaching these players I have to admit that he has me believing.
So if we win 20 games this year, I will up my donation (yes, I decided to invest into this program after a layoff of Amodio-Ferry years) by 20%. Ditto for the women's team: win 20, I increase my donation 20%.
