Offline Offline From D-1 to NAIA, hope he finds a team he won't quit on. Offline Aside from his above average athleticism, he really wasn't all that talented. Couldn't handle the ball, couldn't shoot, and wasn't a great rebounder. He was a big fan of the breakaway dunk or alley oop, but aside from that he gave little effort and played soft on the court. Proof is in the pudding. Last edited by Duques102 (9/01/2017 11:27 am) Offline Offline Not to disparage the kid, but he reportedly had problems here too. I hope he gets it together and does well. Offline In the Fl tournament a few years ago, he came off his season beginning suspension starting the and was inserted into the first game at around the 6-8 min time of first half and was called on a violation and looked at the ref and said F..You and got a quick T. Offline Yeah that's what I excepted. It sucks to see someone with so much athletic ability waste it. But I don't feel bad at all -- that's all on him. In 10 years he'll regret it. Offline Don't think that KD would have recruited a TP in the first place although mistakes are made. Sometimes a recruit is signed with some knowledge of personality or character flaws in the hope that the talent level will outweigh the downside. Usually this does not happen as we have seen here a few times. I wish TP the best.

Never suits up for Pacific. Looks like his talent is not being used well.

He'll score 20 points a game playing at the NAIA level because he'll be way better than everyone he plays against. He just never wanted to put in the effort to be that good at this level, but probably could have.

Re: Tysean Powell
Although he played well the rest of the tournament, I doubted his commitment to the team and he quit on the team and later quit the team before the season was over.

This is why I love kids like Mike Lewis -- committed to DU.
