I was thinking about seeing Holly Bowling play piano at the Rex Theater that night, but I'm not missing my first chance to see Keith Dambrot's Dukes!

Well, just ignore the above post. It appears that the NCAA has approved an additional charity exhibition game per this article:

There are a lot of WPIAL kids on their roster so it may help a little with attendance. 

Exhibition game fellas. Doesn't count for anything. Chance for the kids to see different faces on the court.

I agree my friend, unless you happen to get your rear end spanked by a highly frosted cupcake.  I saw last night where high and mighty VCU lost to Liberty by 10 which has to call into question their touted defense.
 

Shaka isn't there any more, so I don't know if the defense is the same anyway.

Why would anyone go?  How about the fact that a lot of Dukes fans are anxious to see Dambrot’s team do anything.  And maybe at the same time help out an important charitable cause.  Quite simple, really

Pretty sure Pitt is playing Slippery Rock in one of those benefit type games

Looking forward to tomorrow night's game. Hoping for a decent crowd since it is the first game under Keith Dambrot and staff. The score is not important here. It is a chance to play a game against some new faces. Will tell us a bit more about style of play and how players will be utilized. Of course, with 2 bigs out, we won't see the complete picture yet. Hoping Brown might be ready to suit up and play a bit by opening game.
