ATT SportsNet

I see the men have 4 A10 games on ATT SportsNet (formerly Root Sports, formerly FSN, formerly Fox Sports Pittsburgh, formerly KBL 😀)

Glad to see them back on the regional sports network. Definitely a higher profile and a long absence.

Great job to the A10 TV people and AD Harper.

Re: ATT SportsNet

A strong sports program definitely needs high profile media coverage. Glad to see us moving in the right direction on that front!

Re: ATT SportsNet

This is awesome!!! Ever since I started following the program about 8 years ago I have always been baffled by the fact that we haven't been able to get coverage on this network. Just another step in the right direction, and also just another tangible sign of the uptick in credibility we receive from the outside world based on our leadership.

If we continue to improve as expected, we could likely see many more than 4 games being covered per season.

They've also known as, uh, Benny the Groin, Sammy the Schnazz, Elmer the Fudd, Tubby the Tuba, and once as Miss Phyllis Levine.

I knew I was missing one.  Insert Prime between Fox Sports Pittsburgh and KBL.  Lol.

KBL started as select Pirates only home games on the old Time Warner Cable in Pittsburgh.  It didn’t really have a name.  Mike Lange did the play by play.  Only lasted one season. KBL came on board a couple years after that.

Betty Jo Bialosky? Melanie Haber? Audrey Farber? Susan Underhill? (But everyone knew her as Nancy.)

Re: ATT SportsNet

Why isn’t the Dukes vs pitt game on AT&T SportsNet ?     Ridiculous that it’s never televised locally.  There isn’t a network conflict.  This year it’s scheduled for Facebook ?  Are you kidding me ?

ATT SportsNet bought a syndicated A10 package that includes Duquesne.  Which they haven’t done in the past.

ATTSportsNet is not going to pay for production on a match up of the last place A10 team vs last place ACC team.  This game has been on TV in the past.  CBS Sports Network. ACC Network.

A10 has shown other games on Facebook last season.  This isn’t exactly a high profile national game.

Re: ATT SportsNet

I thought this game would be considered a high profile LOCAL game.  Especially since Duquesne is on the upswing and pitt has regressed.  I’m done.

Re: ATT SportsNet

Last year the game was on ESPN3. I have the screenshot of the court-storming on my laptop with the ESPN logo. The year before that it was on CBSSN, which while televised I think makes it harder for people to find. It's not going to get on any bigger program than that, and as long as someone has the rights to it, the CW and AT&T can't have it.

I hate myself for loving you. Quoting me without the expressed written consent of the National Hockey League is prohibited.

Pitt home game last year.  Was on ESPN 3 through ACC Network.  Previous year A10 got game on CBSSN.

I’m sure A10 shopped the game around with no takers. ATTSportsNet is not going to produce this game on its own to put on TV.

Re: ATT SportsNet

We also have a bunch of games this year that will broadcast on "Stadium TV". This seems like a replacement of the ASN games weve had in the last couple years. I looked it up and locally, these games will be shown on the same channel that ASN games were, 22 the Point.

Here is a link to a list to show what channel "Stadium TV" will be shown on if you are in another media market:
