    I got to spend a couple two three minutes with Coach Burt at the open practice. One of the most genuine people I've met in any walk of life. And the best coach in Pittsburgh right now.

    Charlotte was 21-10 last year and beat the ladies at Palumbo - Revenge is a dish best served cold - C'Mon Ladies!!!!

    Coach Burt is the most underrated coach I can think of in Pgh and class guy

    Dukes up 36-34 at the half. GameTracker shows fairly even, except Charlotte 11-17 from the line, Dukes 2-4.

    Dukes lose heartbreaker 75-72. Charlotte 31-43 from the line, Dukes 10-17. That's some good Southern homecooking.

    Ladies lost a tough one - by 1 point - led most of the way but had foul problems - Kadri Ann missed a three at the end that could have won it.

    Winthrop struggled last year hope the ladies can return from the trip 1-1

    The team let a 15 point 3rd quarter lead slip away, along with a 10 point lead entering the 4th quarter.
     
    I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

    Hard to win when refs send the home team to the FT line on every trip down the court. Just sayin'. I'll bet no one plays within 15 points of that team at home the rest of the season.

    No concerns for me. This coach, this staff, this team too good.
