A 10 rookie of the week for the 2nd time already. Sure is best surprise of early season , just missed double- double with 9 rebounds. Will make six figures overseas in a few years Eric averaged 6.5 reb.as a high school senior. Coach must of given him some rebounding tips to bump him up to 10 plus. I think he played a good bit of point guard in high school, which would explain the slightly lower rebound totals. Will make six figures overseas in a few years I think he is shooting a little higher than Europe given his freshman statistics, length, and athleticism. Agreed Dukes2012, and Dambrot has hung that carrot out there for Eric. For most college players, the door to the NBA slams shut based on their lack of athleticism and talent. That’s not the case with Eric. He has a long, long, long way to go to get there (and he is reminded of that every day by the coaching staff), but that door is open. Think about it he’s 18 and his birthday was in July according to online so the kid is pretty damn young. No doubt In my mind he could play overseas at a high level. NBA could come his way though it’s up for grabs in a few years KD said on his post game show the other day that EW is already one of the best players he's ever coached and KD believes that EW's position at the next level will be point guard. He said he wants to teach him to be a point guard but he said that EW will probably not play point guard at Duquesne. EW's jersey could be up on the wall before he is through here.. Big statement and lots has to happen for us to see that, but who knows!! Should be fun. Best part is that he won't have to carry the team on his shoulders. He will have lots of help.
