Good comeback for the half. Keep it going.
Also of interest - Pitt losing to Delaware State at the half - 22-44!
Pitts got the lead my man.

Mike Lewis II! Oh wait! The ball didn't survive the ground. Kidding.

Fantastic finish! We wanted to see how Dambrot would be in a close game and if this is any indication, he is much better than his predecessor. You have to love the defensive mindset and it was nice to see Lewis finish well on an otherwise off night for him. Hope to see all of you at Palumbo on New Year's eve for Dayton.

What a night to be a Dukes Die Hard Fan!

The Dukes showed some serious mental toughness. They got punched in the face the last few minutes, giving up second chance points and going down by seven, but gotta like the resolve. They appear to be growing in confidence.

Lamar has about 6 guys with two fouls, JRob no fouls, Brown 1
Taylor 7 boards
This may end up on last possession winning.

That is great awareness for him to get out the way. Hasn’t shot it well last two games but brings so much to table for us!

Was on pins and needles, was all set to declare the game lost when Taylor bricked both those fouls before Lamar went up for good. Had this been last year, I would have turned off the game in the last two minutes, but this is not last year!
Was all set to post "HIt foul shots and you would have won this game."  Glad to have posted different.

One of the biggest hurdles to victory tonight was the refs. For those in attendance, there were a number of obvious blown calls from close up.

Yes, how 3 refs could all miss that hack I can't understand, but I'm mighty glad they did.  Lamar should have been at the line with a chance to tie and win with no time on the clock.

A big character win for the team tonight. If we didn't already know that Keith has us on the right track we learned that tonight.

Bringing that "Pittsburghian" grit tonight to get the comeback W! Tough, physical and intense game that got the fans into it and when you think "here we go again" they storm back late. Lamar's style was much like RMU with the disruptive denying and bumping all over the place on defense and this time, while not pretty offensively, Dukes passed the test. Fun watching this team get better and grow in confidence.

I was very impressed with Lamar's perimeter defense. Our ball handlers had a lot of trouble with what seemed like one or two guys always in their face.

I may be wrong, but I'm not sure that Williams moved into the shooter. I think the shooter's mo carried him into Williams. If that's the case, they shouldn't have called a foul. But again, 66 year old eyes with contacts.
