Nevada was soundly beaten by a good USF team last night. Dukes won  Friday then held their own against a Sr laden team last night.

One disappointing problem is Chas Brown’s inability to finish down low.

Also Tryus seems to have lost his confidence, even the announcers commented about his body language and playing with his head down.

I know we can’t win them all.  With that said, we could have won this one.  If folks play that tight on Lewis or even a box and one we are in trouble.
-Too many turnovers
-Disappointed in Brown
-Smith was awesome...he definitely earned more playing time
-The officials were fair but some weird calls on both sides
-The offense needs to get better like the defense has
-Nice watch on FS1 and the announcers were entertaining
-Kind of crazy actually hearing a coach take responsibility...blaming himself...unlike the last five years
-Not sure of the foul shooting percentage but it looked better than most nights

Merry Christmas...remember the Reason for the Season!!!

Well even in the loss it is all very encouraging.   To point to a play (missed dunk) that turned game around, rather than a failed system is good. 

Conference play now.   I’ll be estatic if we finish high enough to avoid the play in rounds.
