For what it is worth and people without access to local newspapers - Pitt has hired the Associate Coach from Florida State to be their new head coach of the Women's Team -  He has been at FSU for quite some time - and was at Texas Tech way back when Sheryl Swoopes (sp?) was there.  

I would not underestimate Lance, the new Pitt head coach who I had the pleasure of meeting several years ago when I was followed FSU.  He was very instrumental in helping the Seminoles become an elite team and very involved in their successful recruiting.  He will likely be more successful in getting athletic and skilled players than Suzie was.  As a game coach, not sure how he will do.

To remain the top dog in Pittsburgh, Duquesne cannot stand still in terms of recruiting more elite players to the program.
