Re: Non-Conference Schedule

Fan of the board Zac Weiss had, what i think, an interesting response when asked about this Dan Burt quote:

"The biggest challenge will be November early on. We’ll have things going on with the arena which will limit some time we can get in our own and practice. Everyone has their issues, we’ll figure it out."

Re: Non-Conference Schedule

That is an impressive non conference schedule.   Now people will complain that it’s too tough or too easy.

Re: Non-Conference Schedule

How bad does Duquesne want a NCAA invite? The schedule makes a strong statement of whether Duquesne
deserves a NCAA bid. Plenty of oppurtinities to show if we are deserving.

Re: Non-Conference Schedule

I will assume that the committee looks at RPI games the same way as the men's committee with 4 tiers.

https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/how-the-ncaa-tournament-selection-committee-is-changing-how-it-judges-teams/

Based on last year's final RPI finish:

Tier 1 - TCU, Texas, Syracuse
Tier 2 - Toledo, Penn St., Saint Francis, UCF, Liberty
Tier 3 - Kent St., ETSU
Tier 4 - Mt. St. Mary's, Pitt, Temple
