Re: Game Thread - Radford Highlanders

I was going to post about 3 other times during the game but didn't want to jinx things. Depth and some good defense came through in the end. Good to see us out-rebound a pretty solid team. If we can cut down on the turnovers, we should be a solid team.

Re: Game Thread - Radford Highlanders

Dukes win on the court-  Up 28-17 on the football field in the 2nd half!

Only bad part is that Kellon Taylor may not be back soon.

Go Dukes!!

Kidding, of course. GREAT WIN DUKES!

I read your first sentence and thought Ritters had taken over your identity

Re: Game Thread - Radford Highlanders

Carry got hit by Polite on a brutal pick in the first half and when he came to the bench I thought he may have had a concussion. The hit also really compressed his right shoulder.

Saw that too, Dome. He didn’t look right after that play.

That explains a lot.
Any injury update?  I hope he's good to go against Notre Dame.

Re: Game Thread - Radford Highlanders

One thing that has really impressed me is that Eric Williams hasn’t even played well yet in any of the three games, yet he has two double-doubles and is averaging close to 17 ppg. Looking for him to breakout against the Irish. Also, it was good to see Mike Lewis make a few shots. He will also be needed for us to pull the (minor) upset.

Thorough post game notes article from Zac Weiss. As usual from Zac, insights and info you will not find anywhere else.
