One thought...the last game the Dukes were also favored by a large margin and played poorly...almost lost. So, please don’t skip over this one...hopefully the Dukes will play well tonight.

Played some good teams and were blown out. Lost their exhibition to a d 3 school. Only win is against a non d1 team. Only lost to Longwood by 3.

The more interesting question would be whether or not we could break into the top 100 if we swept the rest of the OOC. I get that’s a really tough ask, but if we beat PSU next week I could see it happening barring any letdowns. We just seem to be stuck in this 165-150 range.

Not enough good wins left. Beating Penn state won't be enough to get us to 100 and the only other team that's somewhat competent is NJIT. It's hard to make significant jumps just by pounding on teams in the 320s.

Doesnt matter. Pound this team into next week

MY concern is if the players listen to KD who, I assume, has told the team
that they must play hard to win even against apparently a weak opponent.

Well, there are 11 players, if at least 5 dont listen to their cosch, something massive is wrong. This is an odd time of year, bad opponent, finals, xmas around the corner. Some guys might not be locked in, but its nice now having depth/options.

Was outside finishing hanging the Christmas lights and only tuned in about 6:30 my time. Dukes up by 19, and then they got sloppy and let them back into it (sort of) I bet Dambrot is lighting them up for this in the locker room.

That was a very uninspired performance tonight. Maybe it was finals week, but the focus just wasn’t there tonight. Need to start putting together a full 40 minutes as we close in on conference play. The

DU wins 72-57.
14 players used. Carry had the most minutes at 33.
Nobody else had 30 minutes.
Dominate the boards. Not great shooting.
Ho-hum win that was good because of the number players that played.

I saw they won by 15 tonight. Totally disgusting. Can't take this program any more. Freshmen with dominating performances. Transfers not disappointing. Not watching this garbage any more.

Probably should have been at least a 30-point win as UMES was pretty awful, but no Mike Hughes and only cameo appearances in the second half by Williams and TDM. Not much of an offensive gameplan besides jacking up 3s, but I guess that's what happens when you take away your two best interior players. Good job staving off embarrassment and getting through this one with an easy, if uninspiring, win.

15 point win with no Hughes, TDM and Williams limited minutes. Full strength would have been likely a 30 pointer. Oh well.

The Williams Jr. discipline saga is concerning. I guess it shows Dambrot exerting power but to publicly do so must mean he really wants to send a message. Interesting strategy. Perhaps now is the time to do it before the deluge of conference play.
