Big win Sunday! It was no artistic success - neither was the men's win for that matter - but it was indeed a big win. Before the game started, my daughter mentioned that ETSU was just 2-12. When I got home I better appreciated the magnitude of the victory when I checked out ETSU's schedule. It's hellish, including a Thanksgiving tournament in which Rutgers & South Carolina participated. Oh, yeah, & their next game is at Tennessee. Interesting, Dribble. A friend of mine came to the game for the first time with me and after the first quarter his observation was: “The Dukes offense is the two guards shooting threes.” They did a better job of going inside in the second half, but Laia needs to square to the basket instead of always using the left- handed hook (my favorite shot!!!!). She is strong, so she should be able to power to the hoop to score. A good win, especially since we were around the 35% mark with our shooting. On to Florida!!! Re: ETSU
Our ladies need to get the ball inside more on offense & play hard for all 40 minutes, especially on defense.
