Won’t be an easy game, but one we really need to win with this tough stretch coming up.

Favored in a road game, who woulda thunk?

Most lines have the Dukes favored by 3. It started off at 2.5.
Anybody going down to the Cassino to try their luck? I guess they'd have the Dukes game at the window.
RPI predictor has us loosing at GW by 5 but winning the next three at home against MUCH stiffer opposition (St. Louis, VCU, and Rhode Island).
I think the RPI has outstayed its usefulness. No wonder the NCAA has replaced it. I'll gladly take the three wins though.

Me.
I've been thinking about this from the day Keith Dambrot was introduced as coach because I had no doubt that such a thing was on the way after hearing him talk about his goals for the program. What I'm really looking forward to is an at large bid to the NCAA tournament because that is coming as well. Maybe not this year, but next season it very well could happen. And I think we have a shot at winning the A-10 tournament this season and getting the leagues' auto bid.

It is difficult to expect to win on the road but this team is atrocious offensively and I really do expect these Dukes to win somewhat handily

From your fingers to God's eyes. I expect them to win....but I expect them to struggle all season. They are expected to pass and that will lead to turnovers until they are comfortable and learn to take care of the ball. Players need to learn the system and where they fit....and I am concerned that Williams is having difficulty understanding where and when he should be shooting. I read some comments that he gets frustrated not getting the ball in his spots. I would want to know if he is frustrated getting the ball in bad spots or that he is not getting it when he is in his spot. This year is where those issues will be worked out. Struggling is good. It will build mental toughness needed to win close games in the future. An easy road win sounds really good though....

Don’t know a lot about GW this year other than their record isn’t great. Speaking of, we are 1-2 in true road games this year so nothing is guaranteed. Hope to see another good performance and the W.
Go Dukes!

Let's win this and get back home with some momentum for Dayton, VCU and Rhode Island.

If they start 4 guards I'm curious to see Williams and Weathers on D.

Now that's the way to start a game.

Hugh’s must be feeling better! 16-2 so far and both of those trying g to guard him have 2 fouls already!

G.W. scoring way too easily now. Time to pick up the D again. The zone slowed done our offense also.

Well I'm more nervous about this game than I should be after the 1st 5 minutes

Looks like it could be another nail biter.

When Hughes is out they go back to man to man. When he is in, they go back to that zone. Our other big guys need to pick up the slack.

Wade is not ready for this but this is how you get experience. Chicken/egg.

Frustrating to watch. To have such an explosive start and now for it to be close means DU has played just as poorly in stretches.
That said, if the team takes it as a lesson then that’s good.
Let’s stay in control and finish this one out...

Atrocious might have been too strong a word.

Thought I saw Bizzeau on the court.

I think that was Bizzeaus first bucket of the year.
