John Carroll's last recruit

Was in Aug of his last season, it was amitysvilles Mike James who has spent 11 NBA season making 32 million dollars. Too bad JC wouldn't play him but Scott Edgar did. 

Some recruits work out even if everyone overlooks them.

In my few dealings with Mike, he never had that "I'm a hoop star" attitude, that so many basketball players tend to have. He was always pleasant to deal with, and I for one, am very happy with how things turned out for him. He had to take the hard road to the NBA, and you have to admire how hard he fought to make his dream come true. There are many athletes who had the talent to make it to the pros in their sport, but lacked the fire, desire, and "want to" of a Mike James.
