If there were an A-10 Football Conference Last edited by coffee (4/06/2019 12:04 pm) It wouldn't make sense for Richmond or Rhode Island to leave the CAA. The CAA is a power FCS conference. Cool idea but not realistic. Our goal should be to keep improving the program in hopes of moving into a better conference. This means winning the NEC virtually every year. We also need the renovations to Rooney to actually be nice. Rhode Island actually submitted application to join the NEC three years ago since they wanted to downsize. A chance to join a better A10 would be attractive to them. If VCU starts a team And joins, Richmond will follow. Last edited by coffee (4/10/2019 5:16 pm)

Requirements- A-10 members or potential members of similar philosophy. Stadiums should potentially seat 5,000. Duquesne would have to play a game or two at Highmark and VCU certainly has the resources to add.
