Offline Ahhh, to only make a couple million bucks playing a game we love, some life. Last edited by townsonkid (4/25/2019 7:42 am) Offline Mostly true but maybe not 10 more years in the League. Offline Yeah I don't want to be the fan base who curses players for leaving. Let's not be bias and understand who we are as a basketball program compared to Oregon and Arizona. Offline That’s not fun to me!. The current situation with the bigger programs parasitizing smaller programs simply makes it impossible to ever build a program at a non P-5 school by developing and keeping talent for four years. It was proven repeatedly that veteran non-P-5 could build an experienced team that successfully challenged the P-5 schools on the court. It made those matchups enjoyable both during the season and in the post season. The game loses much of it’s charm when this can’t happen. Even the average P5 is at risk from the big boys. All 3 local programs have had this happen. Bobby Mo losing Reed to Clemson, Pitt losing Cam Johnson to UNC, and now us losing Eric to Oregon. Of course, we in turn took players away from Akron, and Miami (Oh). It becomes a game of musical chairs. You're almost happy when a player like Norman comes along slowly, so that no one wants to take him (yet).
Re: Eric Williams Recruitment
There are like 500,000 worse jobs to have.
He can probably stick around the NBA for 10 more years, become an announcer for a team he played for,
