Womens lax is in A10 Championship game after beating Temple 10-6. I think they will play the winner of UMass and Richmond. Game is on Sunday. Saw the A-10 Twitter feed say it will be UMass. They are holding their own in the early part of the game. 1-1. Nice to hear the DU Fight Song after the first goal. There are actually people their rooting for Duquesne. What I heard the broadcaster say was: "No Duquesne sports team except for Men's basketball has ever made the NCAA tournament, and the last time that happened was 36 years ago."
Most of on this Board realize how horrible Duquesne athletics has been, but it was still pretty pathetic to hear it said on national TV.
