Re: College Basketball composite ratings

Ok tomorrow is December. We’ll still be undefeated. I plan to go nuts tomorrow.

Re: College Basketball composite ratings

If we're still unbeaten when that list drops below 10, we might start to get some attention, including votes in the polls. Would really be great to arrive a year early. Would be much easier for KD to sell the program if we have a great year, knowing that we're set up to probably be even better next year. Stringing good years together is how you establish yourselves as a have in the eyes of the public, especially recruits. Crack the Top 25, and put together a few NCAA trips, and as far as recruits are concerned, the last 45 years never happened. They're not students of the game's history, they just know who's good right now.

Re: College Basketball composite ratings

I watched both UAB @ Kentucky and Marshall @ Florida yesterday. I'm optimistic, but these will be tough games.

Re: College Basketball composite ratings

WVU is on the list too.  We held our own in Morgantown.  Best yardstick yet even if an exhibition.  Would loved to have see RE during the game.

Re: College Basketball composite ratings

As a number of the announcers pointed out during the BB games the last two days...
It is NOVEMBER!
Let's see where we are in January.

The new arena will be done for next year right?  We only have one year as the Flying Dutchman? Correct?  What a great recruiting tool. "Hey, we won 20 plus games and made the NIT while not having a home! Look what's on the horizon for next year!"

Yes, I said NIT, still not totally convinced that we are going to be a 25 win bubble team.  While stronger, the OOC is still not exactly murderer's row, and it's a long season! Would love to be wrong.

Re: College Basketball composite ratings

The Dukes are up to #44 in the ESPN BPI.

That’s almost Dance Territory
