Here's an interesting bit of useless knowledge- It took Ron Everhart one year to turn this program around and produce a winning record in 2008 at 17-13 and then 21-13. Ron never had a losing season after his first year it took to turn it around.
Ferry never produced a winning season.
As of the St. Louis win, Duquesne finally repaired the damage in firing Ron and got back to .500 ball between 2008 and now at 201 wins and 201 losses.
Ron did a hell of a job with less support than Ferry got. I wonder how much better than .500 the Dukes would be it Keith would have taken over sooner?
Will we ever have a Ron Everhart Day at Duquesne??? He deserves it!!!

Want to make it look even worse? Nee, Porter, and Edgar were all even worse than Ferry.
It might be good that KD didn't come earlier. He might have been young enough to take another job had he succeeded. He's hopefully beyond that now.

But KD would not have gotten the support from the previous crowd of nits that he is getting now. I sort of remember that Porter had to pay for his own cell phone.

Does he ever!!!!! RE should always have a place in Duquesne's success vault. After all, there hasn't been much of it for 40 plus years. He gave us a slice of something good to talk about. Hopefully, the university some day sees fit to revisit his accomplishments. Ron did more with less than anyone else was able to do during this time.

Ron was innovative. Each year he his teams evolved with what talent was on that team that year. And the year that they got to the A-10 finals, that team's approach was very different than his first 2 years. Ron won with less. But KD is getting us back into top of the A-10 now. Ferry was a very bad choice. Thank God we have KD now. Still Ron should receive some recognition for his years here.

Coffee I so agree. The A10 had Xavier Temple Charlotte. Coach Dambrot has greater support from a competent President & talented AD. No support to Ron thanks to TJ(traitor) Chuck & The Quinipiac Clown. Duq81 I disagree Ferry was awful. He got paid a boat load of money to blame every failure on Ron.I don’t know if Ron would ever accept such a honor but as I am posting Bobby Knight returning to Indiana today for the Purdue game.
