Andre Harris was declared ineligible to play for Hillcrest Pep on December 5th.  I do not know if it was for grades or that his HS eligibility has expired.  He transferred mid season last year from Compton Prep to Hilcrest.  As far as I can tell he is not played for anyone since before December 5th, and not even sure he is still at Hillcrest.  I hope he will be college eligible and will still sign with the Dukes in April/May but as of this point it is a question mark.

Thanks kcc, good find.  I saw this tweet below where he was ruled ineligible on December 5th, but never saw or heard anything about him being reinstated.  Evidently he was subsequently reinstated. Good news.

I can't see Hughes staying. He's not likely to take the starting spot away from Norman at this point, nor would I really want him to. Norman has 2 more years. We're going to get hit hard by graduation after next year, Having Carry, Norman, and Austin as returning starters will help keep us from falling back into the abyss. It's easy to want him, and others to stay, but if Harris comes, then 2 have to go. Not going to discuss who off of this year's team might go, but it has to be someone. Hughes is different because he's not with the team. His pedigree will afford him opportunities, especially if he's willing to drop down a step with regard to his league. I could see him as an impact player in a lot of mid level leagues.
