You are missing the positives.  The stars are lining up!  Who is better prepared to win the national championship?  The Dukes have practiced for 30+ years for this moment... playing before no crowds.

My typical Duquesne scenario is just a tad bit different. They have zero chance of getting an at large bid, so I'm not worried about that. What I could see happening is that we win two games to put us on the right side of the NIT bubble, and then the NIT is cancelled. I'll take winning the A10, even if it means empty gyms. It would also possibly put us in at least some preseason Top 25s for next year, so I'll take it. Earning an NIT bid, and then having the NIT cancelled would just be a punch in the gut.
