Any chance all of this stuff going on sets the workers on The Coop back and Duq wont have a place to play again??? That's absolutely worst case scenario. Any chance all of this stuff going on sets the workers on The Coop back and Duq wont have a place to play again??? That's absolutely worst case scenario. Construction work seems like a relatively low-risk type of work in this situation compared to most of the economy. If construction work stops everywhere, there will be precious little economic activity in this country. I was on campus Tuesday and the workers were still out and about, but today Gov. Tom Wolf said if nonessential business do not shut down they will not be able to receive any sort of aide. Duquesne has announced that all on campus activities and work not be allowed. I see no scenario where that doesn't include the building of our new home as well. We are truly in unprecedented times right now. Let's hope they can get back to work soon. Construction is covered in this order and must be halted. Furthermore the University issued a warning saying basically that everything is shut down and you have until noon tomorrow i believe to get your belongings as an employee. I can't find a targeted completion date anywhere, but based on UPMC Events Center (May 10), Peterson Events Center (April 27), and Palumbo Center (June 11) it would likely have been in the spring. So we probably have some wiggle room to make the opening of the season. How much (or if we actually end up with any) obviously depends on how long the quarantines go. I was told that season ticket holders would be invited to an event in August to see the completed building so there is still time to finish before the 2020/21 season (if there is one).
CURRENT RECORD 9 - 14 (4-6 in the A-10)

Re: Coop
I see 0% chance the Coop continues construction. Depending on how long this goes, it will undoubtedly delay construction and potentially into the beginning of the season. Perhaps the conference opener is a more realistic first game if things get pushed back quite a bit.
