LeBron studies Duquesne basketball games

According to USA Today, LeBron studies Duquesne basketball games to keep his mind active

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/playoffs/2013/06/17/lebron-james-memory-finals-miami-heat-vs-san-antonio-spurs/2428635/

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said James is known for watching any game — college or NBA — and storing information.

"He may bring it up because it's something similar we're doing. 'Oh, yeah, Duquesne ran that play a couple of months ago and it triggered this, and this guy was wide open off the screen,' " Spoelstra said.

Re: LeBron studies Duquesne basketball games

I think Ferry and staff are going to run heavy on fundamentals now that he has recruited a roster to his liking. If you read the tweets of the assistants while they follow the games, they point to clean ballhandling, good passing, effort on defense -- all the right stuff.

And, hey, I waited many years to see LeBron's name and Duquesne in the same sentence. Thanks for finding that!

Don't forget the rebounding.

The emphasis on hard work and fundmentals really has me hoping that the current coaching staff could really take player development to another level.

That was quite a comeback by the Heat last night.  It was hysterical watching the Heat fans leave w/ 20 seconds left.

I would stay and watch the other team be awarded the trophy no matter how painful.

They were late for the blue plate special. It is, you know, Miami.
