I was originally going to do top 6 but I think Rhody lost too much to be relevant here. Excited to hear what others think, I will provide more commentary to my projection once There are a few different opinions in the mix. To me, it doesn’t matter whether we are 1-2-3-4 because for the NCAA, it you win the tournament, you go...hopefully there is a tournament. Where we finish would of course reflect our record which connects the dots to a possible NIT bid. Many people will argue that SLU is a better team than us but we saw what happened last year. Yes they will be getting a great player back that sadly got injured last season in jimerson, but we are their worst matchup nightmare. When it comes to the Bonnies, I see us and them becoming the hottest A10 rivalry of the next few years and next year will be much like last in our matchups. I agree it'll be tough to be second but in my eyes its nowhere near impossible... We play the level of our competitor so I see us winning some huge games next season... I would say their bigs are monsters versus average competition but with Mike and Marcus they provided trouble even for Obi. I really thought that if the Dukes ran the table in the A10 tournament that they could beat Dayton. I just see maturity being so important this year with Covid. I think the more mature teams will play better and continue to improve. Now we have depth down low which is pertinent if Mike or Marcus get in foul trouble. As a matter a fact have depth at the pg too with Acuff. Really looking forward to this season and I think most Dukes fans are! . All 5 teams are stacked. URI might be decent depending on transfer waivers and Umass might surprise us too. VCU may have an off year but you still can never count them out and same with Davidson. A majority of the teams in the league will be better than they were last year... just like Duq81 said the league needs to take care of business in noncon. I will be the biggest SLU, SBU, and Richmond fan until conference play starts... then screw St. Louis and Bonaventure lol.
