Did he really have hip surgery? Anyone know why this was necessary?
Or how he's doing?

He appears to be be getting around just fine, and I'm sure what the nature of the procedure was. I would guess that it wasn't too serious given that he's getting around without crouches. Maybe he is being held out for precautionary reasons.
