I've just received word that our friend had surgery for abdominal cancer yesterday and that the prognosis is bleak. I'll post more info if/when I get it.

VBC thanks for letting us know about duq81, Len and I go way back to the late 90s when we started these Duquesne internet message boards. I believe in the power of prayer, and would also ask everyone to pray for his complete healing.

Very sorry to hear this news. Best wishes to '81 for a recovery and I'll be praying for him as well. Really have enjoyed his posts and his encyclopedic knowledge of the program and appreciate his leadership of the board over the years.

I don't think my parish will take screen names for intercessions, but I'll certainly be praying for you. It is the least I could do for someone who has a huge part in making this board what it is.
