Re: Indianapolis MTE

So right now we have 3 OOC games?    We need what, 6 more to get to 27?   Maybe they know something we dont.    Or as scrambling to get into 2 MTEs or if they cant have some contingency plan to play anybody, anywhere.   IDK.    But there is only 2 weeks b/w the Wade Houston MTE and Richmond.   Gonna be hard to do that

Tennessee Classic cancelled VCU instead of doing nothing immediately replaces Wichita States at the Soux City S.D. Classic. Gee imagine that creativity in scheduling.

VCU has way more juice than we do. KD and Harper are trying. Duquesne has zero juice. VCU and Wichita have been to the Final Four. Duquesne hasn't finished a season ranked since 1971. Until we make some postseason noise, we're Fordham. Watch the difference in how we're treated after we string a couple of NCAA bids together, especially if we can win some games there. Teams that wouldn't spit on us, like PC, and Seton Hall, will gladly find room for us on their schedules.

Re: Indianapolis MTE

Presently St. Bonaventure has only 3 OOC games--2 at home and 1 in Cleveland--so they are having scheduling problems, too. Or do they really want more OOC games? I am seeing a lot of short trips (Pitt, are you reading this?), MTE's/bubbles, etc.--probably to reduce travel/minimize infection risk. Big South is playing the same team in the same place on consecutive nights--cuts travel in half.

Also read Pete Thamel's article in Yahoo Sports about the attitude toward P-5 playing non-P-5 this year. There is less incentive for P-5 to play non-P-5 than ever--not only could lose but also could get infected.
